Grown on small family estates in the Ha Giang Province, in North Vietnam close to the Chinese border. Long, rich history of tea making in traditional methods; the area has switched to largely organic cultivation over the last decade. Black leaves with some gold tips mixed throughout; dry leaf aroma is woodsy and slightly earthy. Brewed tea is copper color, light and smooth in taste yet full-bodied.
