Produced in Jingmai, Yunnan, China, from “purple beauty” tea trees. These trees are cultivated for their resistance to pests and drought, and will grow purple buds and leaves Both the buds and leaves have high concentrations of anthocyanins, color pigmentation that gives color to high-antioxidant foods like blueberries and cherries. The cultivated leaves are long, twisted and very dark and have a light bouquet of flowers and nectar; the brewed tea has a deep orange color in the cup with an elevated aroma. Tasting notes of vanilla & honey with light astringency and a light, clean finish. Take advantage of this opportunity to drink authentic, small-batch Chinese purple tea! Available for a limited time
