Tasting Notes:
woodsy | muscatel | licorice | apple

One of the oldest tea estates, the Margaret’s Hope tea garden has been producing world famous Darjeeling tea since before the 1930’s. History holds that before 1930, the estate was owned by an English fellow who had a daughter named Margaret. She would take trips to the estate and she completely fell in love with the scenic beauty and charm of the gardens. On one of her trips back to England, Margaret fell ill and died; the grieving father renamed the tea estate in her honor. A perfect fit for the tea connoisseur, or for anyone interested in Darjeeling teas. The brewed tea has complex aromas of apple, citrus, wood and honey; taste lingers in the mouth and is slightly sweet and flowery with a hint of spice
