Black tea with earthy and fruity taste of currants. In America, we often skip over the flavor of currants, and many do not even know about them. However, black currants have been popular for ages over in Europe. The small, tart berries are often used in jam, cordials, and tarts…and here we have it in a tea! The flavor of this black tea blend is fruity, earthy, and slightly tart. If you are unfamiliar with black currant, the flavor may seem a bit strong or delightfully strange at first, but the flavor will grow on you! This tea blend makes a great morning cup of tea. Black currant also does well iced, on a warm summer’s day.
